Heidelberg is among the warmest regions of Germany, the climate is mild and rarely sees freezing temperatures. The city is located along the river Neckar, between Odenwald and Pfaelzerwald, two regions well known amongst road trippers, and combines both history, and the young flair of a university town. What's not to love? We left Heidelberg with good memories, and should job opportunities come up in this region we would be happy to move here and build up our new lives.
I love old re-purposed barns. Here, we just tear down and build new. There is definitely something to be said for holding on to ones history...and to ones bikes.
