Colour the Season!

Some random pictures to lighten up a grey day. It had been foggy for the last two days straight, and we can hardly remember how sun and blue sky look like… Hence, Martha's challenge came right on cue before drowning in winter depressions.

Clay Birds on a Stick
Some leaves clinging on for life, and a vintage mail box (still in use).
Goldfish in the fountain.
A day at work.
Thanks Martha for colouring the day. What a great idea!

  1. Perfect! Things in every day life. Funny about the timing!

Sometimes you feel an ache to just get near color- or eat it!

  2. Cool mailbox! Same blue color as this year's Limited Edition Ural, the Gaucho Rambler. :)

    1. It's fairly unique in Germany as well, but some can still be found is small towns like ours. Today's boxes would be plain yellow and sans ornaments.

  4. When the days would get deeply dark and gray I used to put Christmas lights up to my face just to bathe in color. And that's how needy I can get for color and light sometimes....

    I love the colored birds.

    1. This is why colour therapy is a big thing in the wellness industry, too. Everybody needs lights and colours.

  5. The orange reds are indeed tasks to be looked at, analyzed and to be improved… lots of work, but… it pays the bills for the hobby ;-)

  6. Love that mailbox. Makes me wonder what my Gramp, the rural mail carrier would have thought coming upon that along his farm roads.
