David, I am an idiot when it comes to photography, but the Sony point-and-shoot camera has a pano button that I found a while ago and started using with mixed results.
I love all those dark clouds too. Just not what they are holding inside.
I also have "sweep panorama" but I guess I am more of an idiot. I must not sweep long enough as I have grey bars at the end with no image. Either that it starts before I am ready and I don't get the part on the left in my photo. I'd rather use the pano app on my smartphone and do it manually
